  1. Summer Reading Program begins!

    June 17, 2021, All Day @ Mansfield Public Library

    Summer reading returns to Mansfield Library with our 2021 program “Growing Readers.” We encourage kids of all ages sign up, visit the library to choose books and spend time this summer reading just for fun. There are no particular reading requirements other than enjoyment, and you may read on your own or listen. Our program begins on June 17, and you may sign up at the Library or online from our website. Pick up a reading log at the Library if you like to keep track of your reading. When you join you may add a butterfly-on-a-stick to our garden plus put your name on a garden marker. Check in every week during the summer to pick up a weekly prize from the Treasure Chest. See you at the Library!

  2. Family Fun Night - Camera Day

    June 18, 2021, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Mansfield Community Center

    Join us this spring for some fun Family Nights at the Mansfield Community Center. Play in the Teen Center and Open Gym, enjoy Family Track Time (parent supervision and masks required), and more! Limited pool space may be available. For some extra fun, come for special Themes. Stay tuned to our website for updates on safety procedures related to these events.

  3. 2021 Annual low cost Rabies Clinic

    Rabies Clinic coming up..... When: Saturday June 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Where: Eagleville Fire House (Rt. 32/Rt 275) in Mansfield Cost: $15.00 cash or check PER dog/cat On Saturday 6/19/2021, NECTAR in cooperation with Mansfield Animal Control and the East Brook Animal Hospital, will host their annual low cost rabies clinic at the Eagleville Fire House. This year the clinic will be curb side and masks are required. Enter the clinic on Rt. 275 and exit on Rt. 32. Please bring your current rabies certificate for a 3 year vaccine. Please have dogs on a leash and 1 cat per carrier. Two (2) free vaccines per household with proof of low income.

  4. Magician Ed Popielarczyk: Outside

    Help us launch our 2021 Summer Reading Program with this fun and interactive magic show. Ed Popielarczyk is a professional magician, balloon sculptor and storyteller who has been entertaining kids and families for over 30 years. His show is full of humor and great tricks. Audience participation is part of the show, and Ed is always careful to ask if volunteers are comfortable being part of the show. Please join us for this fun event, and be sure to sign up for our Summer Reading program while you’re at the Library! For more information about Ed visit All our programs will be outside this summer. You are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Outside programming means possible weather cancellations; please understand that for some of our performers wind is as much of a problem as rain. If we have to reschedule we will find a date as close to the original date as possible.

  6. Family Storytime Outside

    June 26, 2021, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Mansfield Public Library

    Join us outside on the lawn for stories, songs and puppet friends. We will offer a big mat for seating, you are also welcome to bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. All our programs will be outside this summer. Masks are required inside the building; for outside gatherings we will follow current local guidelines. Please remember this is a public space, and be respectful of others. We all are experiencing different comfort levels as we increase our activities, and we want everyone to feel safe coming to the Library.
