We’re having some socially-distanced fun this summer! Each month, we’ll feature a different theme with fun activities for all ages.

In August, we’re enjoying the bounty & beauty of Mansfield!

Community-wide Door Decorating Activity

It’s time to get creative! Residents and businesses are invited to decorate their front doors with each month’s theme as their inspiration. Houses, apartments, businesses - all doors are welcome!

Our theme for August is "Your Place to Grow!" Celebrate the bounty and beauty of Mansfield with your favorite flowers, fruits, or vegetables. Or, show how you've grown in Mansfield, with your family, in your learning, or as a person - have fun and be creative!

Once you’ve created your masterpiece, snap a photo and share it on Facebook or Instagram using #MansfieldSummerFun.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

And as you walk or bike around town, keep an eye out for Mansfield’s decorated doors!

"To market, to market!"

Since 1994, Storrs Farmers Market as provided the greater Mansfield community with fresh, locally grown and produced foods. In fact, everything sold at the Market is grown right here in Connecticut!

Visit Storrs Farmers Market on the front lawn of Mansfield Town Hall every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM from May through the end of October. Open rain or shine!

Find out what will be at the Market each week by signing up for their e-newsletter:

Mansfield farmers often set-up seasonal or temporary farm stands to share their bounty. Look for these stands around town, and keep an eye out for others that may pop-up!
